Did you really think that the previously announced May 3 release date for
Duke Nukem Forever was going to stick? Maybe if you are a “glass half full” type of person, but most realists knew that we would see at least one more delay in one of the longest developed titles in history. Sure enough, Gearbox has pushed the title back a little more than a month, giving it a new release date of June 14, 2011 for North America.
Let’s be honest, what is a few more short weeks when it comes to a game that has been in the pipeline for a decade. At least it has been given a detailed delay, meaning a new “exact” release date and not bumped into a new “quarter”. Just hold on guys, this one is almost here...
