With the Xbox 360 hogging the limelight as of late, it was just a
matter of time before Team Sony leaked some information about the
PS3. According to
Eurogamer,
Ken Kutaragi told the Tokyo International Digital Conference last week
that the PS3 was capable of running games at 120 fps. It sounds
impressive until you consider that there isn't a TV out there that
could show a game at that speed. There's also the fact that the
human eye can barely tell the difference between 30 fps and 60 fps and
you have to wonder if this is really something they should be focused
on and maybe they should focus their efforts on getting something out
the door and making the console easy to develop for. I'm
certainly looking forward to getting my hands on one but it would be
nice to see real hardware running real games.
