Microsoft has
confirmed what we've known for weeks now, that the 20GB Xbox 360 SKU is getting a $50 price cut. Microsoft also announced today that they will be rolling out a 60GB Xbox 360 at the old 20GB price point of $349 that will be available in August. It's an interesting move for Microsoft as they now have four Xbox 360 SKU's (Arcade, 20GB, 60GB, and Elite models). It's not hard to imagine that the 20GB SKU will be going away soon and that the $50 price cut is just to help thin inventories out.
