Capcom announced yesterday that Street Fighter IV will be coming out on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and surprisingly the PC. The game will feature the original cast as well as a host of new ones. While the decision to bypass the Wii for now doesn't surprise me, I was taken back by the fact Capcom would also release the game on a Windows platform. Granted I don't think it's too hard to get a game that works on a 360 to work on the PC but still, the decision to put the game out on the PC is an interesting one. You can bet the next time we talk to Capcom we'll ask why they decided to do this. Not that I'm complaining as the game has the potential to look the best on a PC. If Capcom were to include cross platform online fighting with the 360 and the PC, I'd definitely pick up the PC version over the console.
