Metal Gear Solid 4 details on the editions

Two editions of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be unleashed and if you want the limited one you can ONLY get it at GameStop. The limited edition will run you $85 and will feature two making of documentaries and a soundtrack CD as well as a different packaging. As for me, I'm going to pick this up on the first day but I'll opt for the standard edition. If you do pre-order the game at select stores, you'll get a few goodies and access to the Metal Gear Online Beta that will be available for download from April 17th to May 5th and playable from April 21st to May 5th. Overall, I'm pretty jazzed about this game and can't wait for it to come out.

Additionally, Konami has revealed pricing and the first images of the final packaging for both the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Standard Edition and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots Limited Edition.

Featuring extensive original video content the DVD primarily focuses on the interconnected history between all of the "Snakes": Big Boss (Naked Snake), Liquid Snake, Solidus Snake, and of course, Solid Snake. The DVD also contains a compendium of the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots trailers. Additionally, each DVD allocated during this pre-order period will contain a unique voucher code that will enable the consumer to download the Metal Gear Online Beta.
