Call of Duty 4 named game of year at Interactive Achievement Awards Show

The headline says it all people... this was a good year for Call of Duty 4. Activision's hot title picked up 4 awards, but non is bigger than the over all game of  the year. Hit the jump for some more serious bragging.

Santa Monica, CA – February 8, 2008 – Activision, Inc. (Nasdaq: ATVI) announced today that its best-selling Call of Duty® 4: Modern Warfare™ title was named “Overall Game of the Year” at the 11th Annual Interactive Achievement Awards Show, held last night in Las Vegas, Nevada. Infinity Ward’s intense and cinematic action game swept the awards show, also taking home top honors for “Console Game of the Year,” “Action Game of the Year” and “Outstanding Achievement in Online Game Play.”
