Though it's been out for less than half a year, Numen: Contest of Heroes, an action-RPG based on Greek and Roman mythologies, is prepped with an engine upgrade -- and there are five new screens to put the proof in the pudding. We'll also leave you with this slightly creeped-out message from developer Akella:
"As the story unfolds across ancient lands we've prepared a set of new screens for you to see beautiful valleys of Greece, dark and somber dungons you'll get through while completing quests on multiple islands, and mysterious forests full of weird beasts. Get to the game gallery to view these screenshots, but be careful as deities are watching you."
So, uh, on that note, peek inside for the pics in question. And yeah. Beware of deities.
