The attach rate for a console is the number of games and peripherals/accessories people buy outside of the base hardware. It's sometimes a weird number to grasp so at their booth at CES Microsoft had a practical example of what the attach rate actually looks like. Of course it's a bit biased but it does give you some idea of how well the Xbox 360 is doing in terms of game and hardware sells.
