Xbox Live Still experiencing troubles (Day Four)

John and I were going to get together and play a little Rock Band online but it turns out that Xbox Live is down....again. This is the fourth or fifth day straight that the service has been down at some point during the day.   Microsoft mouthpiece Major Nelson has yet to comment on the continuing outage of the paid service. 

I'm not sure if it's a capacity issue as I'm sure there are a lot of new users on the service but the situation has gone from bad to worse this week.  It's a little frustrating when you can't log into a free service (although I've never had any real problems with PSN or Wii Online) but it's damn near maddening when the service you pay for is consistently down during a holiday week.  Hopefully Microsoft fixes the problem soon and compensates users for the down time.
