The week long nightmare is finally over as Codemasters has confirmed that Sensible World of Soccer has been fixed and is now available to download and play.
On a related note, Microsoft has announced that they will be releasing SpongeBob SquarePants Underpants Slam! next week on Xbox Live Arcade. I can't say I'm that excited about the release but I'm sure there are tons of kids and stoners who will be more than happy to plunk down 800 points for the game.
After an unfortunate, but thankfully short delay we are delighted to confirm that Sensible World of Soccer is available on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®.
Any users that downloaded Sensible World of Soccer early on 19th December will need to delete their copy of the game and download it again, without charge, following the discovery of an issue affecting connection to Xbox LIVE. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause to those users.
Sensible World of Soccer retains all the classic elements that make the game one of the most influential of all time and introduces a new HD mode and LIVE play bringing the title bang up to date.
