Slipping past me like Bronson Reed becoming a member of the new bloodline, WWE2K24 released their last DLC last week. They called this the WCW pack, and have added 5 new superstars.
In the pack, comes Mr. Perfect Kurt Hennig, The Total Package version of Lex Luger, The Great Muta, who comes with a color variant, The Iron Sheik, and DDP, which is listed under DDP, instead of Diamond Dallas Page, but announced as such. When you search for him, search for DDP. There are a few other things to note here.
Lex Luger is HUGE in this game, and I don't remember him being this huge in real life. Kind of scary to look at. Also, Diamond Dallas Page's original theme "Self High Five" is a definite ripoff of "Smells Like Teen Spirit", and I don't know how WCW got away with it for so long. It is changed here, and in my opinion, sounds worse. All the superstars look pretty good over all. The flag The Iron Sheik comes out with hits him in the face during his entrance. It's pretty funny.
The DLC also comes with MyFaction content, including a Locker Code (WARGAMES) to unlock a pack from the Singlet Collection. Finally, The Wargames WCW set is also here, from Fall Brawl. It's really weird to see all this, but it's pretty cool. Remember, the DLC can be bought separately, if you didn't spring for the Season Pass. It is available now.
And that's a wrap for WWE2K24. With the announcement of WWE2k25 imminent, I would love to see more Kayfabe storylines, instead of the production and backstage stuff. GM mode is still my favorite. Please either get rid or revamp MyFaction. It's too much. Maybe we can spend VC on variants of Superstars, like Redesign Rebuild Reclaiim Seth Rollins, or Sister Abagail Nikki Cross. These changes that get made in real life should become available in game. I guess I'll just stick to the content creators.
