The best way I can describe Topgolf to you, is that if Bowling is to people who don't bowl, Topgolf is to people that don't golf. Topgolf is essentially a driving range, which has three floors, targets to hit, and scoring. 6 people can play at a time, and order food and drinks if you want. You pay per hour, and it's obviously cheaper with more people. Topgolf has taken more of my money than any putt putt golf course. More than any driving range. More than anything, my wish, is that Topgolf gives me a yearly subscription, so I can go anytime I want. But this is a gaming website, so why in the world would I spend an entire paragraph on Topgolf?
Well, Topgolf is now in Fortnite. Using the Fortnite UEFN platform (Unreal Editor for Fortnite), you can play an immersive and fully interactive version of Fortnite. The map has four modes. Swing Showdown makes you the golf ball to hit the perfect shot. Topgolf Speedway is golfcart racing in a nutshell. There's the Golfball Ramp Jump challenge, and something called Whack-a-Ball, which sounds pretty self explanatory.
Lastly, the Topgolf World Tour mode takes you through 4 locations, and you again, take the form of a golf ball, and make your way through those locations in a speed run course. I'm hoping that there is real Topgolf somewhere tucked into all of this, fore it would save me a lot of money. If you don't believe me, check the trailer.
