We are approaching the 30th anniversary of the original PlayStation video game console, which first released in Japan on December 3rd, 1994. To celebrate those three decades since PlayStation first came into our lives, Sony is tapping into the nostalgia of the OG console in a big way, today revealing a slew of consoles and accessories known that will be available for pre-order on September 26th through the PlayStation Direct website and select retailers.

First up is the PlayStation 5 Pro Console 30th Anniversary Limited Edition bundle, which includes the limited edition PS5 Pro variant in the classic PlayStation gray and full color PS logo, as well as limited edition Dualsense and DualSense Edge controllers. That’s correct – this bundle comes with both controllers. It also includes a DualSense charging station, a cover for the add-on disc drive (should you ever buy one), a classic PlayStation controller charging cable, and a smattering of other goodies. The limited edition PS5 Pro’s will be individually numbered units, with only 12,300 being produced by Sony, so good luck trying to get your hands on one.

If you don’t want the Pro, there will also be a limited edition PS5 Digital Edition bundle, again in the classic gray coloway, which will come with a controller, and the other goodies and cables. In addition to consoles, the PlayStation Portal Remote Player is also getting the 30th anniversary treatment, while the DualSense and DualSense Edge controllers will be available for standalone purchases if you don’t want to splurge for a console bundle.

Longtime PlayStation fans will no doubt be admiring the beauty of this 30th Anniversary Collection. I recall when the 20th anniversary PlayStation 4 dropped and I missed out on that sexy beast, so you can bet that I will be trying my best to get my hands on one of those consoles.
