Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster launches this week and Capcom has released a story trailer for the game showing off all of those characters that we remember and loved including all those amazing psycho boss fights. For me personally I think this looks great and while I am not the biggest fan of Frank West's new voice, I don't think it would have an impact on enjoying the game as this is one of those games where I just enjoy screwing around and killing zombies more than the story itself.
Now the one thing that I hope and pray that they change with this remaster is the time system. That is the one thing that completely ruined the original game to me. You had almost not time to just explore and enjoy the game because you were so handcuffed by each mission being on a time limit. I remember the first time I played having to restart so many times because I took too long getting to the next mission and it was infuriating. They eased up on that in the last remaster that was released for the PS4 and Xbox One versions and that version of the game is the one I put the most time into so I hope it's kept the same for this Deluxe Remaster as well.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster launchers on September 19th digitally and physical editions will launch November 8th for PS5, Series X and PC.
