I saw this last weekend that Germany had just held the first hobby horsing championship in Frankfurt. If, like me, you are unfamiliar with hobby horsing then buckle up. Hobby horsing is a sport that involves imitating horseback riding with a toy horse head on a stick, also known as a hobby horse or stick horse. It is as buck wild as you think it would be, go look it up, almost like real-world Quidditch.
If you thought, hey, I’d love to see this in video game form, then you are in luck, Hobby Horse is here. “Hobby Horse invites players to create their own hobby horse and conquer thrilling obstacle courses, all from the comfort of their own homes.” You’ll begin in your own room, crafting your hobby horse and planning your adventure. There’s no stable fees or need to buy feed for your horse. There are a variety of courses, ranging from indoor gyms to forests; the entire city is a playground. “Your hobby horse is your trusty companion, deserving of a personalized touch. Players can customize their hobby horse’s color, shape, and accessories, ensuring it looks fabulous while riding through each challenge.”
No firm release date for Hobby Horse, but you can wishlist it to ensure you’ll be up to date when it does make a release.
