The elephant in the room is addressed. Gaming companies have been releasing more accessible versions of their new games in their franchises. Street Fighter 6 with the modern controls. Tekken 8 has mashing combos with a push of a button, and now NBA2K25 wants the players from yesteryear to come back, eventually being able to hang with the Lebron James' of NBA2K.
With that, MyCourt has returned, which is a hub that doubles as an apartment. There you can go through a full tutorial, from shooting, to movement, to defense, and even play mini games with the computer or your friends online. Learn 2K is a whole suite dedicated to making you a better 2k player. You can even play a scrimmage with your newfound basketball skill set. And Yes, you can invite your friends to your place to play basketball with you. No more running around the city looking for anyone. You can do it right there. There's also something else that may look familiar.
Triple Threat Park is the new hotness for NBA2K25, and lets you play the Triple Threat online mode from the MyTeam menus, or My Court. You can even access it from the city if you so choose. It is a re-creation of the NBA2k16 Rivet City championship. There are 9 courts total, and you can play different modes, set with different parameters. There are 3V3 games where you control players from your MYTeam card set, or there are 3V3 co-op games to where you choose one player, and team up against an online squad. You can also earn rewards for meeting thresholds, like winning streaks, or beating timed events. Please note that this mode is only available in Next Gen only. PS5, XBox Series, and PC.
