PXN announces two new great-looking (and inexpensive) racing wheels now on sale in the US

I waited far too long in my gaming life to invest in a racing wheel. The cost always seemed prohibitive, and I didn’t really see the point of spending so much money on something that couldn’t possibly change my experience all that much. Then I finally took the leap, and oh lord, was I wrong. Playing racing games with a wheel is indeed an entirely different experience, and after experiencing the realism a good racing wheel offers, I’ve never looked back.

Gamers that are looking to take the plunge and invest in a wheel themselves might want to take a look at two new wheels that are fresh on the market from hardware manufacturer PXN. I don’t recall ever seeing wheels – even entry level wheels – hit the market at this low of a price point, particularly considering the fact that they both include full pedal sets and gear shifters. While PXN is billing these as “entry level” wheels, some of the features listed look like they are strong competitors of the Logitechs of the world.

The PXN V9 GEN2 is currently retailing for an unbelievable $189 on Amazon. I won’t list all the features here (follow the link to read the fine print), but it looks like a hell of a deal. the V9 GEN2 is currently compatible with PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS3, and Switch (!). And for those that want to push things a little further, the $229 PXN V99 offers an even sturdier-looking design and full force feedback. For a wheel with everything this one offers, $229 is less than half of what I would expect to pay. The V99 is currently compatible with PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PS4.

The thing about racing wheels is that you never know what you are missing until you try one. PXN isn’t exactly asking gamers to take a blind leap of faith here, investing a bucket of money on a brand they might not be familiar with. For these prices, you can get a pretty great wheel for as much as you would pay for a high-end controller. Not a bad deal at all.
