Call of Duty: Blacks Ops 6 is continuing the Dark Aether storyline from the branch of Black Ops Cold War’s Zombies arc. Set over half a decade after the events of BOCW Zombies, this year’s iteration picks up with former Requiem staff – Grigori Weaver, “Mac” Carver, Elizabeth Grey, Oskar Strauss, and Stoney “Raptor One” Maddox. The group have been held captive at a mysterious island facility known as Terminus, located in the Phillipine Sea. Their fortunes change when a Filipina smuggler named Maya Aguinaldo arrives on Terminus to investigate the disappearance of her brother, crossing paths with the former Requiem staff. However, Aguinaldo’s arrival conspicuously coincides with another zombie outbreak on Terminus, in addition to an outbreak in Liberty Falls, West Virginia.
