One of the things that was lacking, and there wasn't much, in Microsoft Flight Simulator was a career mode. Don't get me wrong. Flying around in an open world environment was a ton of fun. But for the next big step in the series, Asobo had to add something else interesting to do in the skies.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will do just that as you'll get to partake in a plethora of different careers that involve flying. Want to fly for a commercial airline? Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will let you do just that. Maybe you want to do private tours instead. Or how about rescuing people with your helicopter. It looks like there's not going to be a shortage of different careers to try out in the new game.
The trailer has me pretty hyped for the November 19th release of the game. And I just read that it will have VR support out of the box and the folks at Asobo are saying it's going to be spectacular. They say there's roughly 10% of the people who play this game in VR and let me tell you, once you try it out once it's hard to go back to a regular monitor.
Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 will be available on Game Pass Day 1 and on Steam for the PC and Xbox Series consoles.
