Mega Man: The Wily Wars is available through the Nintendo Switch Online Genesis app, and though it's a compilation of the first three mainline Megaman games, it just doesn't feel the same as the originals did. Nintendo announced today to remind us that we can get all those games via the Megaman collections Vol 1 and 2, and we don't have access to the game boy versions. Until now.
Megaman 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are now all available for the Gameboy app on Nintendo Switch. This means you only need the entry level Nintendo Switch online tier ($20 a year) to access the green and white bomber. The gameboy versions are just as difficult, just as frustrating, and just as fun. I guess I have to play them now, except I probably shouldn't throw my Switch. Hit that Gameboy app and that cool update button. Thank me later.
