A while back, I reviewed the VITURE One XR glasses and they've been my XR glasses of choice since then. They are really well built and have some great add-ons for gaming and media consumption. Today, VITURE is coming out with a new set of glasses that improves on the refresh rate, screen size, and brightness to name a few.
The VITURE Pro XR Glasses has a similar look to the VITURE Ones with some great sounding internal improvements. For starters, they are now touting a bigger display with the glasses being able to mimic a 135" screen if you're standing from 3 meters away. Brightness has really been amped up with a 4000 nit capable display versus the 1000 nits in the VITURE One.
In my review, one of the things I dinged it on was the refresh rate. The VITURE Pro XR Glasses will come out of the box supporting 120Hz, so we should have some nice smooth movement with the new glasses.
I haven't used the blackout shades on with the VITURE Ones as I think they do a good job in most of my situations, but the Pro one ups the Ones as it will now provide nearly 10% light-blocking when the electrochromic film is enabled. The ones in the previous model don't block out as much light and this sounds like you'll be able to do so without the need of blackout shades, which will be convenient. I do wonder if there's ways to adjust how much it will black out, but we'll see if we can nab one for review.
The dock is one of the great things about the VITURE ecosystem and it sounds like they've improved on it with support for 3D media and games as well as improving compatibility with a wide range of displays and improve the battery life.
For gamers out there, they're partnering with 8BitDo, makers of some great gaming peripherals, to include a limited edition Bluetooth controller. It can work with various consoles and PCs as well as the VITURE Neckband, which I really do enjoy using even though it has a short battery life.
The VITURE Pro XR Glasses are available now for a price of $459, which comes in at $70 more expensive than when I reviewed the original VITURE One glasses.
