The next character joining the Mortal Kombat 1 roster will be landing at the end of the month. Peacemaker, complete with the voiceover work of John Cena, launches that day for Kombat Pack owners. If you are looking to add him to your game on his own, you'll have to wait until March 6.
Peacemaker isn't coming alone! Not only will Eagly be joining him in battle, but he is also bringing an all-new Kameo Fighter in the form of Janet Cage. No, this isn't one of Johnny's ex-wives, but rather an alternate reality version of the Hollywood superstar that fans have come to know and love.
In addition to the new roster addition, another major feature is finally coming to the game on 2/28: Krossplay! Players will finally be able to fight against players from other platforms on the PS3, Xbox Series S/X, and PC. Sadly, Switch players will still be out there on their lonely island. In order to celebrate the new feature, the game will be offering a Free Trial Weekend from March 7 through March 10 on the Krossplay platforms. Players trying out the game will have access to the full, base roster of Main and Kameo fighters, all online and local multiplayer modes, Towers, Chapters 1 and 2 of the Story Mode, as well as the Cage Mansion portion of Invasions.
