This weekend I am be feeding my new Call of Duty 4 addiction and also messing around more with Folklore . I am also continuing my personal countdown until Assassins Creed and Mass Effect come out. The bonus disc I received for pre-ordering Mass Effect only makes me want the game more. I didn't even think that was possible.

I've been shredding away on Guitar Hero III for Wii. The new Les Paul controller is great, especially with that cool little slot for the Wii remote, which gives it rumble, tilt sensitivity and wireless out of the box (so to speak). On the other hand, the game itself feels a tad stale. Don't get me wrong, there's a great setlist with a few really stellar songs, but overall I liked the setlist from GH2 better. And, the art style just doesn't have that fun goofy feeling anymore.
Aside from that I've been playing Orange Box, and a number of review games (Quake Wars, Spiderman Friend or Foe, You are Empty). All in all a busy week.

I'll have finished the Mass Effect: Revelation novel by the time you're reading this (with Revolution due out this spring), as I work some more time into NWN2: Mask of the Betrayer , which is a heavy mask to bear -- if you'll pardon the mixed metaphor. Also, a preview build of the whimsical adventure-comedy, Jack Keane, should be arriving in the mail shortly, which looks just as promising as Runaway: Dream of the Turtle looked before that game completely pissed me off.

Still flying through Ace Combat 6, Halo 3 and Halo 2 (PC). I just picked up Call of Duty 4 and BioShock (PC) that I hope to get to. However, football still rules and gaming is secondary for a few more weekends....

Since I actually have a nice full weekend off to look forward to, I'm going to finish up Half Life 2 from the Orange Box. I also picked up Silent Hill Origins, and being a Silent Hill nut I'll definitely tear in to that and probably complete it this weekend. And I'm still stuck on Lou, Guitar Hero 3 is making me very angry.

This weekend it's all Dragon Quest Monsters all the time. I've been waiting for this game for months so expect some blogs from me marking my progress on capturing monsters and training them in true DQ style! I currently have one more monster to capture on the island that I am on and I will also be working on WiFi ranking play so that I can gain more monsters as prizes. With over 200 monsters I have a lot to look forward to.

I'll be checking out Dawn of Magic for review, while fiddling around with the incredibly addictive Puzzle Quest. I'll also be checking in on Sins of a Solar Empire if time allows. There's just too much game and too little time right now...

The plan for this weekend is to wrap up Conan and Ratchet and Clank: Future and then spend more quality time with The Witcher after that. I finally finished Guitar Hero III on Easy this week so I might venture into the scary world of the Blue button this weekend and work my way through the game on Medium. Wish me luck.

I'm going to try to get some more Hellgate: London in if the game doesn't keep crashing on me. 3 patches in less than week is pretty sucky and the latest patch has made my game unstable. Guitar Hero III on the PS3 is also on tap so I can get a review of that out and finally I'll see if I can squeeze some Team Fortress 2 in.
