Praise the Lamb, the newest and biggest update yet for Cult of the Lamb is nearly upon us. Today, publisher Devolver Digital announced that the Sins of the Flesh update is coming to the hit cult (cult hit?) sim action RPG on January 16th. Sins of the Flesh will be free for all 3.5 million players who have picked up the game since its launch in 2022, and a 40% discount on the game will run for one week to coincide with update’s release starting on the 16th, if you're interested in becoming indoctrinated.
The update will feature a revamped Follower leveling system for your sinful flock, improvements and new tiers for buildings, new outfits, and a new Blunderbuss weapon. The Blunderbuss can be used as a shotgun, as you might imagine, or more of a sniper rifle courtesy of a charged attack, should you please. Perhaps most importantly, the Sins of the Flesh update adds sex to the game. Yes, your cultists can now procreate if they care deeply for one another, ensuring that your cult will continue to grow for many generations of sinners to come.
