Vampire Survivors, the gothic horror bullet hell action roguelike, has a lot of love from a handful of us here at Gaming Nexus. It was the highest-rated Steam game of 2022, and in my opinion rightfully so. Well, developer poncle has decided to shake up the game by adding a story, they’re calling it Adventures. “Adventures are self-contained miniature story modes that remix the game's content, following the Survivors cast on a series of wacky sidequests. Each Adventure will offer a unique progression path, giving the player an opportunity to start from scratch and face custom challenges with a limited arsenal - without losing their precious unlocks in the main game.”
The upcoming game update to version 1.8 will include the first wave of Adventures with more Adventures being added in the future as part of free updates and paid DLCs, alongside recurring features like new characters, weapons and stages. Adventures will be coming to Vampire Survivors on PC, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Mobile, but there is no official date for the release of 1.8, so stay tuned. Vampire Survivors is currently available on PC, Mac, Xbox, Android and iOS.
