Watching people stream Little Nightmares 1 and 2, I've never dived into them. It's bad enough that it uses the die, try again method. But it's more the visuals that keep me away. Plus the random stealthy sections so nothing finds you, and of course the running away from something, that this writer just can't handle. With October coming up, and me giving my subscribers the go ahead a recommending games, Little Nightmares III was announces for 2024, at Gamescom by Bandai Namco.
The characters, Low and Alone, are to escape The Nowhere, but this time around, each character comes with their own item. Low had a bow and arrow, and Alone comes with a wrench. But you don't have to go with Alone, alone. The game will feature 2 player online Co-op for the first time in the series. However, if you are...alone, you will be able to play single player, as the CPU will take the second character. If you want even more Little Nightmare goodness, there's also a 6 episode podcast that includes an original story about a character named Noone. You can check out the first 2 episodes here.
Little Nightmares III will release in 2024 for PS4/5, XboxOne/Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC. I will find the first two and stream them, against my will of course.
