Battle Shapers demo now available on Steam

Are you ready to liberate your city from the clutches of a corrupted robotic invasion? Sounds like the plot of a Mega Man game but that's what you'll be doing in Battle Shapers. You play as Ada who must rise to reclaim the future of New Elysium from the Overlords who have taken it over. As you progress you'll be able to unlock new weapons, abilities, and talents to permanently increase your combat potential and survivability with every run, and you're going to need it.

I checked out the demo which is currently available as a free download and while it didn't take me long to get the hang of things, once I got out of the starting area I died in about twenty seconds. My next attempt went better but it is still very easy to underestimate your enemies and it won't take long for them to mow you down. Luckily you'll be able to improve yourself between runs to give you a better chance at survival and the more you play, the better you'll become. Battle Shapers currently has a planned release timeframe of Q3 2023 and this is one I'll definitely be keeping an eye on.
