No more delays -- Assassin's Creed has gone gold

More On: Assassin's Creed
My Most Anticipated Game of the Year, Assassin's Creed, has just gone gold.  (Okay, my Most Anticipated is tied for first place with The Witcher and Mass Effect, but I'll let Charles continue his personal pimping campaign on those.)  Assassin's Creed is locked in for a November 13th launch date, ladies and gentlemen, and I'm already filling out my sick leave request at work, and snagging a copy of the game's art book with my pre-order, too.  It's rated M for Mine! and hopefully, once Jade Raymond sees that all her fine work has paid off, will finally return my phone calls.

Assassin's Creed. "This is a huge event for the team. Our biggest reward
will be everyone having a lot of good solid fun."

About Assassin's Creed
The game is set in 1191 AD, when the Third Crusade was tearing the Holy Land
apart. Shrouded in secrecy and feared for their ruthlessness, the Assassins
intend to stop the hostilities by suppressing both sides of the conflict.
Players will assume the role of the main character, Altair, and will have
the power to throw their immediate environment into chaos and truly
experience the art of a master assassin. For more information, please visit
