Last night, out of nowhere, Nintendo made the announcement that three more games were making their way to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack (NSO+EP?). The games they're adding are going to be even more confusing. So, because I think it's hilarious, I'm going to tell you the titles for each game, and probably never say them in entirety again. Here goes.
Super Mario Advance This is the only title that doesn't tell you what game it is from the title alone, but it's just a revamped version of Super Mario Bros. 2. This game added voices to each character, and has a few more surprises here and there. I find it superior to the SNES version, but that's where it stops.
Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2 - Yes, that is indeed the full name, and yes, it's Super Mario World, with again, added voices, but this time, you can play as Luigi, with his high and longer jumps from his SMB2 days.
Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3: Same. Exact. Game as it's SNES counterpart, but now it comes with a version of Mario Bros. Oh wait...all of these titles do.
Now Super Mario Bros. 3: Super Mario Advance 4 (Whet) is already included in the service, so now your collection is complete. That gives you 3 versions of SMB 2 and 3, 2 versions of World and Yoshi's Island, and 5 versions of an updated Mario Bros. You're welcome. Excitement! All this releases May 25th. They're also cancelling PacMan 99. Thought I'd throw that in there.
