After taking yesterday off of work to "finish the fight," I can now safely say that
Halo 3 is a great game. While the game play is not groundbreaking, the game modes and features are extremely innovative and enjoyable. I played through the entire single player campaign on normal in about 7-8 hours, which seems short, but all that time was action packed and very fun.
Halo 3 wont make Halo-haters turn into fans... but it will make the Halo nation proud. The game play has remained intact from the previous Halo games, but now it features better graphics, physics, and over all flow. When you add in the other game modes included in Halo 3, such as mutliplayer, map editor, co-op, and the film saving/viewing you will be hard pressed to find a better value on the Xbox 360.
Halo 3 may not be perfect, but it is the real deal... and this is coming from a guy who has never been a huge fan of the series.
