We're still here and the crowd has about tripled since the last post (still room for more though). Here are a few notes from the first hour or so of watching people play the multiplayer side of
Halo 3.
- Needler is actually an effective weapon now, can't dual wield it though (not 100% sure on this)
- Very Halo, whether or not this is a good thing is based on your opinoin of Halo mulitplayer
- Graphically the game looks solid
- Temporary ID's are a godsend for local play, no longer have to create permanent id's
- Nice body signatures in unzoomed Sniper rifle scope, not sure if this was in the game before or not
- Sad realization that the corner of the screen we are playing on is bigger than my TV at home
- Equipment really makes a difference, will take some getting some getting used to though
- Beat downs never get old
- The Brute Warthog is pretty bad ass
