Stunning real-time strategy game Empire of the Ants announced for consoles and PC

Strategy games are one of my favorite genres in the entire medium, and every now and then a title comes along that totally takes me by surprise. If you also enjoy the genre, it is my pleasure today to bring to your attention Empire of the Ants from publisher Microids and French developer Tower Five. Empire of the Ants is a gorgeous real-time strategy title being developed on Unreal Engine 5, planned for release on PC and consoles sometime in 2024.

Based on the best-selling novel from Bernard Weber, Empire of the Ants will see players developing a colony of insects through third-person tactical battles in an ant-sized world. Meet other ants and forest-dwelling insects during your journey and form alliances with other factions to help you achieve victory. The game's narrative is based on the natural flow of seasons which affect the environments and gameplay mechanics accordingly, as does a full day/night cycle.
