Microsoft announced today that Cyberball 2072 and Fatal Fury will be released on Xbox Live Arcade next week. John and I have both been waiting for Cyberball 2072 since the game was announced for the platform last year. Cyberball 2072 was a fun robot football game that I spent way too much of my high school days playing.
Microsoft also announced that they will be selling four arcade titles for 1/2 price this weekend. The titles are Small Arms (400 points), Zuma Deluxe (400 points), Gauntlet (200 points), and Dig Dug (200 points). Not a a bad deal and I might finally pick up Zuma to see what all the fuss is about.
Score a touchdown this week or compete in the match of the millennium – “Cyberball 2072” and “Fatal Fury Special” are coming to Xbox LIVE Arcade! Both titles will be available for download on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. GMT (2:00 a.m. PDT). Additionally, four Xbox LIVE Arcade favorites will be available for half their regular price this weekend. See below for details.
Rediscover the arcade classic game “Cyberball 2072™” from Midway on Xbox LIVE® Arcade. Take control of your robotic team, and call the plays to move your team downfield for a touchdown. But watch out, the ball gets hot if you don't keep moving! Keep your eye on the ball to make sure it doesn't go critical before you can score.
