Atlus has officially launched their two hit JRPGs Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden today on all modern platforms after the success of re-releasing Persona 5 Royal a few months ago.
Persona 3 Portable: You play as either a boy or girl protagonist transferring to Gekkoukan High School. Not long after, you encounter a phenomenon known as the "Dark Hour" which turns citizens into coffins and otherworldly creatures start to spawn. The power of your Persona is awakened and it is up to you to embark on this dark and emotional journey. Check out Cyril's review of the original on the PSP!
Persona 4 Golden: P4G is a coming of age story featuring a cast of endearing characters investigating a series of serial murders. The game first released on the PlayStation 2 back in 2008 and features a nice change of pace in the countryside of Inaba compared to Persona 5's bustling Shibuya setting. Both games feature voiceovers in both Japanese and English as well as enhanced graphics, quality of life updates, multiple subtitle language support and a new "Suspend Save" functionality.
Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden are now available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, Xbox Game Pass, and PC! Both games are individually priced at $19.99 each, or can be bought as a bundle for $39.49. Stay tuned for our review on both titles in the coming days.
