Need for Speed Unbound is really going pedal-to-the-metal right now on the marketing cycle for the upcoming arcade street racer. Today, we got a look at a custom-built ride for the game’s headlining artist A$AP Rocky, but publisher Electronic Arts went all out and had the thing built in real life. It's a fully custom Mercedes 190 E, which players can earn in-game by beating A$AP Rocky at his own Takeover Event. It’s pretty clean, although now I’m wondering if we can have hydraulics on our cars in-game. Take a tour of the real-life version with A$AP Rocky below:
EA and developer Criterion also revealed the official licensed soundtrack for the game this week, which includes more than 70 tracks from artists all around the world. There are some more “mainstream” artists that you’ve definitely heard of, but there is a large amount of up-and-coming ones as well. I’ve been listening to a preview of the track list while writing up this news, and I have to say – it’s solid. In fact, it’s exactly what you want from a street racing game. Need for Speed Unbound launches December 2nd on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, but you can sample the licensed soundtrack right now, right here:
