Sony dropped a new trailer today showcasing some upcoming and current games on the PlayStation 5 in a brief trailer. Final Fantasy XVI appeared briefly and was accompanied by the description:
Currently it is unknown what other platforms the game will launch on after this exclusivity period is over, but considering Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade came to PC after its initial PS5 exclusive period, we can probably also expect to see Final Fantasy XVI to come to PC eventually.
The newest entry in the Final Fantasy series stars protagonist Clive Rosfield, as confronts he various humans who have been cursed with the power to become Eikons. A release date should be announced before the end of 2022 but Final Fantasy XVI is coming to PlayStation 5 sometime summer 2023.
