Developer TaleWorlds Entertainment and publisher Prime Matter have released medieval sandbox RPG Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One. It has also exited Early Access and launched its 1.0 version on PC.
Bannerlord is a prequel to the first game in the series – Warband – and sees players begin their medival life as a lowly warrior on the continent Calradia, where you will build your own story and rise through the ranks to become king. It's up to you whether to play the part of the hero or the villain, the righteous king or the evil tyrant.
