Dragon Quest Treasures unveils new gameplay overview trailer

Square Enix launched a brand new gameplay overview trailer for their upcoming game Dragon Quest Treasures, along with announcing pre-order bonuses and editions. The trailer takes an in-depth look into the world of Draconia, treasure hunting mechanics, recruitable monsters and the player's home base.

Dragon Quest Treasures follows the childhood adventures of Erik and Mia, two siblings from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. The two protagonists are whisked away to the mystical land of Draconia, which contains seven legendary Dragonstones among other valuable loot. It is up to Erik and Mia to grab these treasures before rival gangs and monsters get there first.

The pre-order bonuses for the base game are detailed below:

• Chimaera Wing (x5) – Returns players to base immediately without losing any treasure
• Better Buddy Bullet (x15) – Increases the likelihood of a monster wanting to join the player’s gang
• Fullheal Pellet (x5) – Fully restores the HP of a single ally

The Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game, in addition to three monster allies, and batches of Bestest Buddy Bullets and Omniheal Bombs.

Dragon Quest Treasures is coming exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on December 9, 2022. Pre-orders are available now at the official Square Enix store for $59.99.
