I've known about Inscryption since its release a year ago. It's an excellent game that I thoroughly enjoyed playing on PC. So did Eric who gave it a perfect 10 in his review. What I did not realize about Inscription was that it was coming to consoles. I was perusing the PS Store last night and there it was, available for PS4 and PS5. Turns out this news had quietly slipped under the Gaming Nexus radar, but I'm here now to remedy that.
Inscryption is a hard game to describe. The review above does a good job without giving too much away. At its heart is a collectible card game, but it unfolds as a mystery, and makes some crazy twists and turns which is part of what makes it so hard to describe less spoilers are revealed. It appears to have released about 2 1/2 weeks ago, just at the end of last month, and though the official website did tease it's arrival (https://www.inscryption.com); having experienced the story, it is kind of on-brand that the console release did slide in without much notice or fanfare. Kind of like picking up a bunch of old foil packs at a large sale you might say?
