More information regarding the upcoming Resident Evil Village Gold Edition was shared today during Capcom's TGS Online Program. As a refresher, the Gold Edition will include Third Person Mode for Ethan Winters, expanded Mercenaries Mode with more playable characters and maps, and the "Shadows of Rose" DLC Story expansion.
A new trailer was showcased at the online showcase, explaining how Rose Winters has the ability to freeze her enemies in place with her newfound powers. Some more gameplay footage was also shown for the Third Person mode, which features blocking and kicking and the expanded Mercenaries Mode.
Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, including the Winter's Expansion is releasing on October 28, 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders are available now! The DLC alone will be available for purchase for $19.99 whereas the Gold Edition will be available for $49.99.
Resident Evil Village will also be coming to Apple Macbook Pro, Nintendo Switch via Cloud Streaming and PSVR2. It was also announced that Resident Evil 4 Remake is in development for PlayStation 4 (alongside next-gen consoles) as well. More information will be shared in next month's Resident Evil Showcase.
