The Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Pokèmon Scarlet & Violet is fairly similar to the standard Switch model however this version’s detachable Joy-Con Controller’s colors will be Scarlet and Violet to match the upcoming release of the new Pokèmon Scarlet and Pokèmon Violet versions. Also on the Joy-Cons will be school emblems found within the games. The OLED model is the same size as the standard switch and features a 7-inch OLED screen, making the screen nearly a full inch longer than the standard 6.2 inch screen and 1.5 inches longer than the 5.5 inch Lite model. One main difference the OLED model will add is the use of the OLED screen as apposed to the other versions LCD screen.
Although Pokèmon Scarlet & Violet will be sold separately and won’t be released until Nov. 18th (currently available for pre-order), this Nintendo Switch OLED Model will feature Legendary Pokèmon Koradion and Miraidon on the front side of the white system’s dock and a Pokè Ball inspired design on the back. On the back of the system itself will be special illustrations of the three starter Pokèmon from the game: Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly along with other recognizable symbols from the game.
With a suggested retail price of $359.99, Nintendo Switch OLED Model: Pokèmon Scarlet & Violet system will be available in stores as well as the My Nintendo Store. Pokèmon Scarlet and Pokèmon Violet both have a suggested retail price of $59.99, with a double pack including both games for $119.99 that comes with addition in-game bonuses.
