Electronic Arts announced that Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto’s new Seattle-based studio is called Ridgeline Games, and they have been tasked by the publisher with developing a narrative campaign in the Battlefield universe.
The studio is currently in the process of hiring staff for the title, with Vince Zampella – the founder of Respawn Entertainment and Electronics Arts’ head of the Battlefield franchise – saying that Ridgeline Games’ project is part of a continued investment in the future of the series:

SEATTLE, Washington – September 8, 2022 – Electronic Arts Inc. (NASDAQ:EA) has revealed the newest addition to its family of over 20 development teams – Seattle-based Ridgeline Games. Led by Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto, and composed of industry veterans from around the world, Ridgeline Games will be focused on developing a narrative campaign set in the Battlefield™ universe.
