First-person action-RPG Atomic Heart has been delayed to this winter, after previously being scheduled to release in late 2022. Publisher Focus Entertainment shared news of the delay while simultaneously announcing they were partnering with developer Mundfish to publish the title on consoles and PC. The slight delay was attributed to assuring the highest possible quality upon release, and Focus Entertainment plans to reveal a specific launch date soon.
Atomic Heart will be Mundfish’s first game after the studio was founded in 2017, with offices in both Cyprus and Armenia. CEO Robert Bagratuni said the developer was searching for an experienced publisher to help them get their first project properly off the ground:
"Five years ago, when we founded the studio, we set ourselves the goal of creating a world-class product that could be appreciated by millions of people all over the world,” said Robert Bagratuni, CEO of Mundfish. “And now, when the stakes are as high as ever, we are finally ready to release the momentum we have been accumulating over these years. We couldn’t be happier to head to the release with such an experienced publisher, and we have no doubt that Focus Entertainment will make the upcoming game launch truly outstanding."
