Developer Illfonic finally dropped a release date for their upcoming 4v1 hunt or haunt asymmetrical multiplayer game Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, along with pre-order bonuses and goodies.
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed allows you to group up with a squad of four in order to track down invasive ghosts around the city. The game offers cross platform multiplayer or solo with AI bots. The ghosts work alone, roaming classic locations such as the museum, prison and firehouse. Possess objects to raise a global haunt percentage, regain power and cause Hysteria. It seems like an internet connection is required, even for solo play.
Digital pre-orders include Advance Access to Slimer, a Custom Particle Thrower and Proton Pack, and special clothing colorways.
Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed is coming to PC via Epic Games Store, Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 on October 18, 2022. The game is priced at $39.99 and pre-orders are available today!
