Marvel and EA Sports are again on the team-up to bring back Heroes to FIFA 23. Heroes are special cards in FIFA Ultimate Team (FUT) that represent iconic players for special moments of glory form their past. The card are illustrated and inspired by Marvel artwork and super powers, but of course the player on the pitch won't be flying to the goal or stopping an attacker with laser eyes.
Each hero will be available at the launch of the game, but a special card will also release to coincide with the World Cup game mode. There will also be heroes-inspired in game cosmetics to change you uniform, stadium, tiffs, or game ball to the style; and there will be an actual comic created, with a limited edition run of physical copies available. Pre-ordering FIFA 23 before August 22nd (next week y'all) will net you a limited time Hero item in addition to the other standard in-game benefits like FIFA points (FUT currency) and other players and load items.
FIFA 23 is available September 30th across platforms.
