FIFA 23 will be the final game of the series to use the FIFA title in the name, with the licensing running out after this one final year. In definitely have a love/hate relationship with the series as it is such a cash cow for EA they let the gameplay itself, especially in Career Mode, slip year after year while finding new ways to monetize and maximize revenue from modes like FUT. Details for next year's outing are still scarce, but that's about to change. While some cosmetic tidbits have been released with the latest press release, like Kylian Mbappé and Sam Kerr being the cover stars, the actual worldwide FIFA 23 reveal trailer will drop July 20th, 2022 at 9AM PT/12PM ET. I've got the video embedded below but there won't be anything at that link until it does go live tomorrow.
Typically the trailer reveal is more hype than substance but there are usually a few details sparsed in. More importantly though it marks the beginning of the season where EA will likely start lifting the hood with a steady drip of stories detailing features about specific game improvements. Changes we will eventually get to test the validity out when we finally get our hands on the game September 30th.
