I watched all 10 minutes of the Evil West extended gameplay trailer that came out today. To be honest, I was a little skeptical watching the first two minutes. Evil West looked a lot like a very familiar, and popular, cowboy franchise. But then combat started to get a little crazy. Body parts began to fly. And then magic, and alien bugs things showed up, and my doubts went away. Excitement washed over me, this could be really good. Then I started to look for a release date, September 20, heck that’s just a couple of months away.
When I started to look into Evil West I learned a lot more. The game puts you in the boots of a vampire hunter who is attempting to rescue a world covered in darkness. There will be a variety of locations like desert towns and infested forests. “Delve further into monster-infested locations, facing hulking abominations, screeching monstrosities and ancient vampires as your mission to destroy the ultimate evil leads you far into the darkness to take on spectacular boss fights.” I’m also excited to tackle the game with a friend, as you can play solo, or co-op.
Evil West comes out on September 20 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
