I first played Dragon's Dogma 2 when it was delivered to players as a free PlayStation Plus title way back on the PS3. Since then, I've played the game several times, reengaging years later when the game showed up on Nintendo Switch. There is no doubt that Dragon's Dogma - with its incredible combat, rewarding pawn system, and sprawling open world - is one of my favorite RPGs of the last decade.
So I was excited last night when I learned that Capcom announced Dragon's Dogma 2 at a special 10th anniversary event celebrating the original game. You can watch the event here (it's only 12 minutes long):
As you can see, there aren't a lot of details about the game other than "we're working on it", but hey, I'll take it. Dragon's Dogma 2 is being developed using Capcom's RE Engine, which is the same engine used for Resident Evil films, so this one should be a looker when it is eventually released.
