Man, I remember seeing the original Modern Warfare 2 way back 2009 in San Francisco. And now, now we have a brand new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II for a new generation of gamers.
Continuing from the great Modern Warfare reboot of a few years ago, you're going to see what made Task Force 141 a legend. The campaign will take place across the globe as well as above and below ground. I can't wait to play again with the likes of Soap, Ghost, and Price.
Of course, there's going to be multiplayer modes as well as a co-op Spec Ops mode for you and your friends to work together. Activision will look to continue support of multiplayer with new maps post launch.
Warzone is also going to get an upgrade and be Warzone 2.0. It looks like that with Modern Warfare II, both that and Warzone 2.0 will use the same engine to provide multiplayer and single player mayhem in a single development platform.
And something else that hasn't happened in a while, Modern Warfare 2 will also be available on Steam if you're playing on the PC. The last few have been on Battle.net and it looks like the game will also be available on that storefront as well.
Look for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II on October 28th.
