I finally got my the chance to play through the new Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC and I brought my peoples AHeroofSorts, Andiagirl, and QDaGift with me! Nintendo announced FORTY EIGHT new courses for the Nintendo Switch launch title, and the first 8 were released last week. These courses are to be released in 6 waves until the end of 2023. These are tracks from your favorite past Mario Kart games , including from the latest mobile game Mario Kart Tour. The first wave is as follows:
Golden Dash Cup: Paris Promenade (Tour) Toad Circuit (3DS) Choco Mountain (N64) and Coconut Mall (Wii)
Lucky Cat Cup: Tokyo Blur(Tour), Shroom Ridge (DS) Sky Garden (GBA) Ninja Hideaway (Tour)
Now if you have the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack, these tracks can be downloaded at no cost to you, as they are part of your membership. If you forego this option, the entire DLC is $24.99 USD. No word on if you can buy the waves individually. It seems that this may the new way to go for DLC packages. I also want to throw in there that at the time of this writing, the Nintendo Switch just received a system update, and added the feature to group your games together. You would call them "folders".
